Since 2009, we have been organising a sales promotion campaign to sell off summer and winter tyres. Here customers who have bought certain tyres from retail outlets receive a cheque from the tyre manufacturer when they send in their invoice. Pre-printed cheque forms are personalised and sent out by PORTICA using digital printing and including the customer’s contact details and the relevant cash-back sum. The customers also become members of the customer club and receive a tyre guarantee.

In advance of the campaign, retailers are provided with information materials and participation cards. We set up the PORTICA microsite in such a way that they can open the tyre manufacturer’s website directly from the landing page and it is adapted to the corporate design. Customers can register their contact and participation details securely via the microsite and upload the invoices for their tyres. The data reaches PORTICA wcm via an interface, the campaign management system for sales promotions, which has been developed by us. Invoices that are received with the participation cards by post are digitalised, recorded manually and checked.

All of the data is available centrally in PORTICA wcm. The verification process runs on this basis: if data is missing, reminder letters are sent out, if the information is complete, cheques are produced. The staff on the customer hotline have an overview of everything through PORTICA wcm and can provide information directly when they receive telephone enquiries.

The data is provided to the tyre manufacturer’s CRM system via an interface. It also receives detailed reports so that it can plan further sales promotions efficiently.

The tyre manufacturer is relieved to be able to outsource important tasks in the marketing mix to an experienced service provider who provides professional support for the brand experience of its customers.
