This web-based solution enables efficient handling of dialog marketing measures such as bonus, cash back or loyalty promotions. WCM Summer 2010 models the process completely and transparently from the digital mail inbox through the entire logistics chain until the bonus items or checks are sent. These include, for example, improved information management as well as simpler than ever integration of external data. WCM Summer 2010 is a multi-service, web-based database for promotions which is integrated with the PORTICA inventory control system. With this system, PORTICA provides support to companies for marketing projects such as bonus, cash back or loyalty promotions. As part of this effort, the company first creates a microsite reflecting corporate identity principles and assumes responsibility for printing participation cards related to the promotion to register customers. Then a dedicated post office box for the promotion is established for customer support so WCM Summer 2010 can record and check all submissions. In addition to that, PORTICA handles all the customer support on behalf of the client and sets up a service hotline.
With WCM Summer 2010, the client can keep an eye on the progress of promotions at all times and evaluate the profitability of the bonus or cash back campaign. Advanced information management in the cloud
WCM Summer 2010 can not only be used to implement virtual project areas but also to provide an efficient platform for exchanging information and documents. Those involved simply upload the information, documents, updates, guidelines, etc. to the project area via the Internet, giving all the others in the project convenient access using that medium. This eliminates time-consuming e-mail information exchange.
Interface enables data exchange without programming
PORTICA has implemented further options for data transfer. Previously, data entered by participants on the Internet could be applied directly for registration. Now there is a new interface with a structured format which enables data transfer via sftp access without implementation effort and expense. This enables records to have additional information added or for an import to a CRM system to be returned to the client.
A better overview and more transparency
PORTICA digitizes all incoming documents directly in the inbox. This may include collector cards with bonus stamps, sales receipts for cash back promotions or correspondence, for example. The digitized data is then stored in WCM Summer 2010. This enables a good overview of incoming mail at all times for PORTICA clients.
All activities are then ordered chronologically in a well-organized manner so the PORTICA client can track all the service provider’s activities and have them sorted by customer. Transactions are linked to detail screens which show reports or correspondence.
An integrated system for follow-up enables direct involvement of clients in processes. This procedure is particularly useful for cash back promotions with extensive official rules. The client can react directly to questionable submissions which are marked for follow-up and contribute to a resolution with PORTICA.
End customers notified of promotions
To enable PORTICA clients to use the letters sent with bonus prizes or checks as a means of communication for advertising statements, WCM 2010 has an option for dynamic control of the text created, for example based on the date. This enables notification of seasonal promotions, for example.
